IV HYDRATION INFORMATION
We are a mobile hydration clinic, which brings our services to your door, how convenient is that.
What is IV Hydration:
Is the process of inserting a small simple peripheral catheter under the skin into the vein to supply hydration directly into the blood stream. This can be in the simplest of forms consisting of purified saline or with the addition of vitamins, minerals, and amino acids. The administration of supplements directly to the blood stream increases absorption rate and the active effect of the vitamins. When you take oral supplements you often loose about half of the benefits through the digestive system.
Who would benefit from IV Hydration Therapy:
Anyone who is suffering from common nuisances: such as headaches, common colds, nausea, fatigue, food poisoning, dehydration. Anyone who wishes to enhance athletic performance or weight loss. Last but not least improve hair, skin, and nails.
Does it work?
You will feel the effects of the hydration starting in 1-3 hours after completion. Depending on the individual results can last 1-3 weeks on average.
Each session last between 30-60minutes.
How Often can you receive Hydration Therapy?
This can be discussed on a patient-by-patient basis and depends on the reason you are taking the therapy.
For preventive wellness 2 IV drips per month is average to maintain proper balance of vitamins, minerals, electrolytes in the system.
Pregnancy and nausea:
We use Zofran as our antiemetic and therefore need permission from your OBGYN to give this medication. There are other vitamins such as B6 and pure fluids to help you with nausea.

Children:
We will not perform IV hydration on children who must be restrained.

What if I am a hard stick?
Since this is not an emergency, we can take time to look for a good vein. Our goal is to only stick you one time, and we make every effort not to leave bruises or marks. However, sometimes these are inevitable, our goal is to make you as comfortable as possible.
