Why Telemedicine?

What is Telemedicine?

Tele Medicine is the delivery of health-related services and information through private electronic means. In which you will receive an audio and/or visual consultation with a licensed health care provider. They in turn will supply professional guidance in your care.

 

When should you use telemedicine?

When you are on vacation, business trip, traveling jobs or just away from home.

After normal doctor and business hours.

Non-life-threatening medical issues.

Not sure if you need to go to the ER/Urgent care center.

Live in a rural area and getting to a doctor is limited.

Avoid the risk of exposure to other illnesses such as COVID-19.

 

Common Conditions Treated:

These are generally basic sick visit, and generally do not require a direct physical examination of the patient.

Common cold and flu symptoms

Constipation/diarrhea

COVID-19 Assessment

Fever

headaches

Heart Burn

Joint Aches and Pains

Minor Pediatric Ailments

Nausea

Pink Eye

Runny Nose

Skin Inflammations: which can include minor rashes

Sore Throat

Sport Injuries-Minor

Refills of chronic medications: however, we do not refill controlled substances

Nutritional and health counseling

 

 

During your telemedicine visit:

After completing a short health questionnaire and patient consent. You will receive the audio and/or visual interview by a health care provider. Your healthcare provider will then make the most correct decision for your immediate care. Sometimes this may include to refer you to the ED or Nearest Urgent care center. If prescriptions are needed, we can call these into the pharmacy of your choice. Your provider may also suggest the need at that time for an in-home visit or concierge services in which we do supply should the need arise. Our in-home services can include, complete vital signs, direct physical exam and should there be a need for one of our many IV hydration services or administration of minor medications.

Simple Laceration Repair

 

Reasons not to use telemedicine services:

Limited physical examination

Technical issues

We will not prescribe controlled substances or refill-controlled substances

 

 

 

COST:

 

Telemedicine Initial Evaluation: $ 45.00

Follow-up Visit related to first evaluation: $25.00

 

Should a concierge visit be needed cost will depend then on services provided.

(Can complete more than one person if all at same location only one travel fee)

 

Injections:  Their will be a $25.00 travel fee in addition to the charges below

B12: Given IM or in the infusion and is an essential vitamin with benefits to increase energy, improve mood, fortifying hair/skin/nails, boosting RBC production, Boosting immunity, and aid in heart protection.

 

Vitamin D3: 50,000IU given IM can be given weekly if you have had lab work and your physician reports you are low depending on how low you could receive injections weekly up to 12 weeks then convert to oral.

 

Tri-Immune Boost:  Given IM or through IV Infusion immunity blend of Glutathione, Vitamin C, and Zinc.

 

Toradol: added to the infusion, Is a Non-Narcotic, Non-Steroidal, Anti-Inflammatory medication, great for generalized body aches and headaches.

 

Slim Shot: given IM and is full of fat blasting compounds, B1, B2, B6, Methionine, Inositol, and Choline.

 

Zofran: given during the IV infusion or under the tongue, this is great for nausea, however if you are pregnant, I will need permission from your OBGYN to give this medication.
